Information for Sending Macintosh Files
To deliver artwork created on a Macintosh, your company has three choices:
  1. E-mail your artwork to CFG
  2. Send your artwork on a 3.5" IBM compatible diskette
  3. Provide graphics already located on the World Wide Web (web advertising only)
Files must be one of the following types, saved with the appropriate 3 character extension:
HTML (*.htm) Works 3.0 /4.0 for Windows (*.wps)
Microsoft Word (*.doc) ASCII text or Rich text format (*.txt, *.rtf)
Internet-ready image (*.gif, *.jpg) Image files for IBM platform (*.tif, *.bmp)
When saving a *.tif file in PhotoShop, be sure to select "IBM PC" byte order.
Please Note: Unless provided with True Type Fonts (*.TTF), we cannot be responsible for fonts matching those in original designs (when using a preferred font, save file as an image listed above).
All images must be sent as separate files (starbursts are considered images).


  1. E-Mail Directions:
    1. You 1st need to have E-mail connected to the Internet.
    2. Collect the files that will be used to create the artwork.
    3. If possible, compress files into a ZIP file. We support Winzip and Stuffit.
    4. Attach the ZIP file (or other files) to your e-mail.
    5. Please include your company name, phone number and person to contact in case a problem arises with the e-mail or files attached.
    6. Send the e-mail to [email protected] (must be all lower case).
    7. Fax a copy of the advertisement that is to be created as an additional confirmation of the layout.

  2. Sending your artwork on 3.5" IBM compatible (DOS formated) diskette:
    1. Please save to a 3.5" IBM compatible diskette, saving graphics separately.
    2. Mail the diskette to CFG Inc. with a note providing: Your Company Name & Phone.
    3. Fax a copy (or include a print with the disk) of the advertisement that is to be created as an additional confirmation of the layout.

  3. Providing graphics already located on the World Wide Web (web ads only):
    1. If your artwork is already located on your Web Site, please fax us a copy of the page layout, along with the complete URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the file (i.e. "http://www.cfg-inc.com/webimages/cfglogo.gif").
    2. Also, please include any written permission necessary.
