Sprint is currently recruiting in the Dallas, Houston and St. Louis areas for the following positions:

Network Engineer

This position provides pre-sale data design and engineering support. Responsibilities include assessing prospective customer’s technical and application environment and providing a winning network solution which meets their business needs. Skills preferred: 2+ yrs. data/voice communication design experience, in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN internet working, in-depth knowledge of communications protocols including Frame Relay and X.25. Pre-Sales experience a plus.

System Engineer

Key customer contact for customer support in the post sale and implementation of packet product services (Frame Relay, X.25, Asyncdial), managed networks (routers, frads) and life cycle support. Problem identification and resolution. Skills preferred: 2+ years telecommunication experience implementing products, protocols and providing customer technical support.

Network Services Manager

Management position that creates expectation of service quality and manages performance on all products and services for Major and National Accounts to meet or exceed the customer requirements and expectations, in a cost effective manner. Acts as a conduit for dissemination of information on network projects for both internal and external customers. Skills preferred: 5+ years telecommunications experience, 2+ yrs. supervisory experience, 2+ yrs. customer service responsibility, management skills, decision and problem analysis. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Technical Applications Consultant

Technical support of field sales in post-sale customer retention. Provides project management for services implementation. Skills preferred: 5+ years telecom experience. Background must include knowledge of technical applications, enabling technologies and telecom project management. PBX experience a must.

Sales Support Representative

Provides telephone support to all sales personnel and is responsible for scheduling maintenance and repair appointments. Skills preferred: Good telephone and personal communication skills, basic knowledge of telecommunications industry. Ability to work on several projects at one time.
