The following opportunities exist with our Omaha I/S Department:

ASSISTANT DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

  • 2 years database related experience
  • Knowledge of SYBASE, experience with Shell Programming
  • 1 year experience with UNIX
  • Knowledge of PC based database tools
  • Degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • Knowledge of telemarketing is preferred

SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

  • Associate’s degree in programming or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to automated systems
  • Basic understanding of programming technical terminology and logic
  

ENTRY LEVEL COBOL PROGRAMMERS/
PROGRAMMER ANALYSTS

  • 2 year degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in COBOL language
  • Knowledge of MVS/JCL and utilities are preferred
  • Experience in IBM mainframe environment

LAN PROGRAMMER/
ANALYST

  • Proficiency in and at least one year’s experience with Powerbuilder
  • Strong database experience with a visual applications tool
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Decision Science, Computer Science or equivalent system development experience
