Searchable Resume Database

Search resumes now.

Career Fairs Global's new on-line resume database has taken the paperwork out of finding your next million dollar candidate. With the purchase of a Career Fairs Global Career Fair, all hiring managers in your company will be able to search the database for up to 90 days (45 days before through 45 days after the career fair). The best part is, there's no special software to install, making this service available to anyone in your company with Internet access.

Career Fairs Global has designed and built this database to run "live," which means that a candidate's resume becomes instantly available the second it is submitted. We've recently expanded our database features to make searching and tracking easier. You can now perform a quick search, advanced search, save searches you use often, rate desirable resumes, and choose to receive e-mail notification when a new resume meets the criteria of one of your saved searches. You can then contact candidates by e-mail and ask them to meet you at the Career Fair for an interview!

This on-line feature will only be made available to companies who have registered and paid in full for a Career Fairs Global Career Fair. Simply use your User ID and the password provided on your exhibitor confirmation to access the resumes of qualified candidates you want to hire! Media Campaign

Career Fairs Global Inc. has developed an aggressive multi-media promotional campaign which attracts the quality candidates you need to recruit. In addition to Internet and print advertising, we've developed partnerships with radio groups in many cities across the country. This allows us to heavily promote our career fairs on multiple radio stations in each market. The greatest benefit of using radio in recruitment efforts is that it reaches passive candidates - employed, experienced, quality candidates who aren't actively looking for a job, but are open to the idea that there may be something better.

In addition to radio and newspaper advertising, Career Fairs Global sends recruiting event announcements to universities, colleges, trade schools, military installations, job services, diversity organizations, trade associations, local chambers of commerce, professional societies, and all media outlets in a city to inform candidates looking for a career or a career change. This increases exposure of the event and the quality of candidates who attend.

Recruiters can now enter, edit and delete position titles and descriptions through the recruiter homepage; job seekers can review and apply on-line for open positions by accessing your personalized Web ad generated by Career Fairs Global. Once a candidate has applied for an open position with your company, you will receive e-mail notification. You can return to the recruiter homepage and quickly review and rate the new applicant. Career Fairs Global's Web Site

Career Fairs Global's Web Site promotes our events and your company through our virtual career fairs for ninety days (forty-five days before and forty-five days after the event), giving recruiters and candidates updated details about our events. We average 1,000,000 hits per month with a possibility of receiving up to 3,000,000 hits in the ninety-day advertising period. Anyone can find our site through major search engines, including Yahoo!, AOL NetFind, Excite, Lycos, InfoSeek, and WebCrawler, or through links on city sites like local chambers of commerce, urban leagues or radio stations' Web sites. We also collect resumes in our on-line database; these resumes are available to companies that have paid in full for a Career Fairs Global Career Fair. Our site is updated daily which encourages job seekers to check back often.

Web Ads for Career Fairs Global's Virtual Career Fairs

Career Fairs Global's virtual career fairs provide a unique opportunity for recruiters to inform candidates about their company and available positions with up to ninety days of exposure for each event. With the purchase of a recruiting event, your company's name is included on our list of exhibitors for that event. Your company also receives a Web ad; below are the two Web ad options available to participating companies:

  1. Standard Web Ad - This option includes company name, titles of available positions with links to position descriptions and prescreening questions, and a link to company history (which includes recruiter's name, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address) - all generated by Career Fairs Global!  Recruiters simply need to enter position titles and descriptions, a company history, and prescreening questions through the Career Fairs Global recruiter services.

  2. Custom Web Ad - A custom Web ad is designed specifically for the Internet and typically requires the involvement of an ad agency or media department. The content may include company history, position descriptions and benefit information, and a variety of images including the company's logo. It is usually sent in HTML format. When you participate in a Career Fairs Global Recruiting Event, you will receive:

  • A listing in our virtual career fair for up to ninety days
  • A standard Web ad including positions and contact information with the opportunity to design and submit your own full color, personalized Web ad (see Web ad information)
  • Promotional activities including radio spots, newspaper ads, public service announcements and fair information fliers
  • The opportunity to participate in newspaper banner advertising in select markets
  • A six-foot draped table, two chairs and a laser-printed table sign (4"x14")
  • Approximately 100 square feet of exhibiting space

Healthcare Recruiting Events

Career Fairs Global Inc. recognizes the many recruiting challenges in healthcare and has structured its healthcare fairs to meet those demands. In addition to the Recruiter Services, recruiters have access to nursing, pharmacy, allied health and other clinical and administrative candidates. To insure attendance of healthcare professionals at the fair, a targeted campaign has been put in place to complement the aggressive multi-media promotional campaign.

FREE continuing education seminars for nurses are presented by ANCC-accredited providers on the day of the event, and over 10,000 notices are sent to nurses alerting them of the fair. Each unique seminar earns ANCC approved continuing education credit. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Brochures and continuous video programming that encourage individuals into healthcare careers are offered at each fair. The nursing and allied health schools in the surrounding area are sent promotional packages encouraging their students and alumni to attend the fair.

Career Fairs Global provides you with an environment where you will have the potential to meet hundreds of candidates. Unfortunately, hiring is not the same as it used to be when unemployment was high and recruiting was easy. Times have changed! Recruiting has become more of a challenge. We have interviewed and had lengthy discussions with companies that make quality hires through our events. The following are tips - from them - that will help you have a successful Recruiting Event.

  1. Stay Until the Very End - Our advertising is designed to drive employed candidates to the event during their lunch breaks or after work. The last person of the day may be that "Million Dollar" candidate.
  2. Meet Everyone - That one person may be the "Million Dollar" candidate.
  3. Recruit in Front of Your Table! Shake Hands! Smile! - Be one of the companies that has the opportunity to meet 100% of the candidates and not 35%.
  4. Sell Your Company to the Candidate - You are competing with other recruiters for the same candidate - make an impression.
  5. Have a Recruiting Plan - The best companies always have a recruiting plan.
    • Have a tag team
    • Interview on the spot
    • Set up an open house after the event or on the following day
    • Bring the hiring manager
    • Have candidates fill out your company forms or profiles at the event
    • Have follow up interviews after the fair or on the following day
